- You need 1 of medium size fresh fish.
- Prepare 2 of tomatoes.
- You need 1 of medium size Onion.
- It's 2 Tbsp of cooking oil.
- You need 1 clove of garlic.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
Fresh Tilapia stew step by step
- First boil the fish after dividing it into 2 equal parts for about 1 hr with 2 cups of water added.
- Take a pan and add the cooking oil then the chopped onions until the color is light brown then add garlic, tomatoes then cover with lid for tomatoes to soften.
- When ready you can now add the fish with the remaining soup it has inside the pan, then stir slowly with salt to taste, cover again for about 10 minutes.
- Your fish is now ready to serve with hot brown or white ugali.
