Ingredients of Momos (Chicken filling)
- You need 50 g of All-Purpose flour.
- It's 100 g of Chicken mince.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need 1/10 tsp of turmeric.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of MSG (Ajino Moto).
- You need 1/3 of of an onion (finely chopped).
- You need 2/4 tsp of ginger and garlic paste.
- It's 1 bunch of Chives (finely chopped).
- Prepare 1/2 tbs of Mustard oil.
- Prepare 1 cup of water.
Chicken momos are dumplings made of minced chicken,steamed and then served with hot red chutney. This is the first time i made momos and they turned out really fantastic.as i'm a beginner i. These dainty sacks filled with chicken kheema filling, bursts with flavour the moment you take a bite. Momos can be steamed as well as deep fried.
Momos (Chicken filling) step by step
- Mix the flour and water and make an elastic dough..
- Mix the rest of the ingredients together for 5 minutes..
- Make the wrappers for the Momos by rolling out the dough very thinly and, by using something circular with a bit sharp edges (~2 inches wide), cut it out. Take the rest dough and continue the same thing..
- Steam the Momos for about 12 minutes..
